Hi Elb,

I was really talking about the "Fillmore '69" box set but, re: E72, I'd throw this in:

You have 3 choices:

1) You're one of the lucky ones and get the boxed set: all the CDs in digipacks, the trunk with your 'deadication' on it, plus the two books - the b & w 'Book of the Dead' and the colour 'Ice-Cream Kid' book of photos.

2) You didn't make the cut and so you can pay the same price as the box set but only get the CDs (in digipacks) i.e. no trunk and no books.

3) You can download the music (lossless) and the artwork for free from Pirate Bay ............ for free.

If I was unsuccessful in getting the 'Full Monty' (box set, trunk and books) I'd probably go for the free (Pirate Bay) option, rather than pay the full price for only part of the package. But that's just my choice - you have yours and I have mine. I respect yours and I hope you respect mine i.e. no issues.

Incidentally (#1) not you, but some have suggested that Pirate Bay sell the stuff - they don't, it's free. They make their money from all the (annoying) advertising on their site - you know: links to Social Networking and Dating sites (oh to be young, free and single again !).

Incidentally (#2) I thought CDs lasted forever, but no. I took the Eagles debut CD (inc. "Take It Easy") out of the rack the other day. I noticed some dark spots on it so held it up to the light - the aluminium (English spelling!) had started to deteriorate and, although the plastic was intact, the aluminium layer had more holes in it than a colander. No surprises but I replaced it with a lossless copy from Pirate Bay - already had the case so didn't have to print a new one !

Keep on Truckin'
